THE JOY OF KARTHICK AND HIS PARENTS

Karthik's father had two children, one aged 3 years and the other 11 months old. In spite of repeated visits to the general physician, he could not recover from common colds and coughs. Doctors diagnosed him as a case of congenital heart defect and as a result he was frequently suffering from colds and coughs. Doctors at Guntoor demanded a huge amount of money to correct his heart, which was beyond the reach of his father, a poor coolie who struggled to feed his children and wife. A kind doctor at Guntoor suggested that they catch hold of the Feet of their creator and go to SSSIHMS, Bangalore.

After mobilizing money for their travel Karthik's family landed in the Hospital for assessment and he was operated on 27-11-04 for PDA ligation. Now he is fully recovered and jumping around the ward. His parents' joy knows no bounds and they want to return to Puttaparthi but cannot afford it. When they come for another check up they pray that Swami is in Bangalore so that they can have His Darshan there.
