Sun Shade for the SUN

The month of September has two very colorful festivals - Ganesh Chaturthi and Onam. We have a nice article and some beautiful pictures of Sai Ganesha in the feature articles section. And now here are some nice pictures of Swami under beautiful decorated umbrellas that used to be held on festival occasions in the early days of the Avathar. We know how much this divine unbrella is part of the Onam decorations in Prashanthi Nilayam. And why not, as Lord Vamana Avathar Himself had a beautful umbrella when He came down to meet King Bali. We have aptly named it "Sunshade for the Sun" as described by Prof. Kasturi in "Loving God".
