Enchanting Dasara and Charming Sathya

Swami moving in a grand procession on beautifully decorated palanquins! Palanquins resembling a peacock, a swan, adi sesha (holy serpent), etc....a different theme on each day! That was one of the highlights of Dasara celebrations in the olden days in Prashanti Nilayam, i.e., more than four decades ago. This Photo Gallery gives you glimpses of those 'good olden Dasara days' as this is the month of Dasara - always an enchanting festival at Prashanti Nilayam. There are also a few good pictures of Swami as young Sathya, maybe, just after His declaration of Avatharhood, as this is also the month during which 'Avathar Declaration Day' falls (20th October).
