Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in a landmark discourse in 1963 revealed to the world that He is Shiva-Shakthi Swarupa, that is, the embodiment of Supreme Consciousness and Supreme Energy that pulsates in every atom of this creation. Every word and act, gesture and movement of the divine when He assumes a human frame is a mystery. Even more mind-boggling is His Silence. As they say, silence is truly ‘Sailens’ as stilling the mind and speech is the first step on the spiritual path. Once we learn to quiet the mind, we automatically turn inward. And this process becomes the easiest when the Avatar is living with us day in and day out.
