March 31, 2009 saw the launch of the websites of Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust and also of the two super-speciality hospitals run by this Trust – The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram, and The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield.
These websites share the unique healthcare mission of Bhagavan Baba which is path-breaking in its vision of providing the most sophisticated medical care, absolutely free of charge, to all, irrespective of religion, race or economic status.
The patients come to these institutions seeking a cure, but return healed, not only in body, but also in mind and spirit; in fact, they feel inspired to serve others, as a way to show their gratitude for the Love experienced by them in these hospitals.
