It was Keats who said, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever!" How true, and how much more true it is now? For unlike the times of Keats when all the beauty and perspective had to be captured in words or art, it now can be captured almost as it is - thanks to photography. Still, it is an art in itself to narrate a story, convey a thought or capture an insight with a picture. We are sure there are many amongst you who have mastered this modern art of visual poetry. So here is an invitation to all of you shutterbugs - amateurs and pros. The 90th Birthday Special, Radio Sai Photo Contest is here. And this time we wish that your imagination flows into the moulds of any of these timeless aphorisms of our Lord:

The above are the themes for the contest. And given below are a few guidelines and points which we would like the participants to keep in mind:

1. The copyright of each image should naturally rest with the participant. Using someone else's images is strictly forbidden and will attract disqualification.

2. A participant is allowed up to 3 entries in each theme.

3. A caption is compulsory and it must accompany every photograph (but please don't type or paste your captions on the photograph.

4. Images should be in JPEG format and be resized so that the file size is a maximum of 1.5 MB or the width of the picture is 1200 pixels, whichever is lesser. Information about the camera/lens used is most welcome.

5. The Copyright of the images remains with the photographer and if at all Radio Sai wishes to use the images in any other way, it will seek permission from the photographer.

6. Even photos taken at an earlier period is acceptable as long as the photographs have been taken by the participant, he/she can furnish all details about the picture and the camera used, and of course it was not submitted for the Radio Sai contest held earlier.

7. Submission is to be done via email with subject line - 'Radio Sai Photo Contest 2015' to h2h@radiosai.org

8. Last date for submission of entries is May 7, 2015.

9. Participant's name and place must accompany every submission.
