Special trains to & From Prasanthi nilayam
on the occasion of
90th birthday celebrations of bhagawan Sri Sathya sai baba

 


We are immensely pleased to inform that the Railway Board has approved Special trains and Temporary Stoppages at SSPN Station (Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Railway Station) from 14 Nov to 27 Nov 2015.

This arrangement is made for the convenience of the devotees who wish to witness the grand celebration of the most awaiting 90th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai baba on 23rd November, 2015.

In addition to the regular trains, the Railway Board and South West Railway have kindly notified on Nov 4 that the following trains will halt for 2 minutes at Puttaparthi SSPN station from Nov 14 to Nov 27, 2015.

The devotees may now alight and board at SSPN (Puttaparthi) station for the following Trains:

Special Trains to Prasanthi Nilayam
20 November 2015 (Friday) -  Special Train from Visakhapatnam to Dharmavaram (Reservations available) -14 coaches


The Special train No. 07273 from Visakhapatnam-Dharmavaram Birthday World Conference Special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 4.45 p.m. on Friday, November 20 and reach Dharmavaram the next day, Saturday at 12.40 p.m.

Stoppages - Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddalur, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Gooty and Anantapur.

They will have one 2nd AC, one 3rd AC, seven Sleeper class, five Second class sitting and two Second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches in their composition. 

APSRTC will arrange  25 special buses from the Dharamavaram Railway station to Prasanthi Nilayam on 21 Nov at 1 p.m. to reach Prasanthi Nilayam by 2.30 p.m.

21st November, 2015 (Saturday) - Special Train No. 07154 from Kakinada to SSPN, Puttaparthi

The Special Train will leave Kakinada at 12.30 noon.

Starts on Saturday, 21 November,  reaches Prasanthi Nilayam at 6 a.m. on Sunday 22 November 2015.  

RESERVATION available for 2AC, 3 AC and Sleeper classes.

Stoppages - Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddalur, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Gooty and Anantapur.

They will have one 2nd AC, one 3rd AC, remaining are Sleeper class coaches, Second class sitting and sitting-cum-luggage coaches in their composition.

Departure from Nanded on 21st Nov 2015 at 4:30 p.m.

Reaching Prasanthi Nilayam on Sunday 22 Nov at 8 a.m.

24th November 2015 (Tuesday) - Special Train from Prasanthi Nilayam to Kakinada

Special Train from Prasanthi Nilayam (SSPN) to Kakinada via Gooty, Nandyal, Vinukonda, Vijayawada.

Starting from Prasanthi Nilayam at 7 a.m. reaching Vijayawada at 7 p.m. and Kakinada at 11:30 p.m. on 24 Nov 2015.

Booking in IRCTC will open from 13 November 2015.

Special Train from Prasanthi Nilayam (SSPN) to Kacheguda starts on 24th Nov at 7 a.m. reaching Hyderabad at 6 p.m. on 24 Nov

The route is Nanded, Purna, parbhani, Parli Vijnath, Lathur, Bidar, Vikarabad, Tandur, Chithapur, Yadgir, Nalwar, Raichur, Manthralayam, Adoni, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Prasanthi Nilayam.

Reaching Prasanthi Nilayam on Monday, 16th Nov and 23rd Nov - Arrives at SSPN at early hours 1.25 a.m.

The devotees from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka may avail of this facility.

The route is Gorakhpur, Gonda, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Raichur, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Prasanthi Nilayam.

Reaching Prasanthi Nilayam on Wednesday 18 Nov, and second train on 25 Nov at early hours 1:30 a.m.

(25 Nov train will be useful to Bangalore bound returning devotees after birthday - it will reach Bangalore by 5 a.m.). The devotees from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

The route is Ajmer, Marwar, Abu, Mehsena, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Vasai, Kalyan, Pune, Satara, Miraj, Belgaum, Dharwad, Hubli, Hosepet, Bellary, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Prasanthi Nilayam, Bangalore.
