kṛtalōna aditi tanayunitō yē pāṭi tanmayatvamondenō teliyadāyē

We know not what ecstasy Mother Aditi derived from her Son in Krita Yuga;

trētalōna kausalya padunālugu vatsarālu rāmuni yeḍabāsi paritapincenōyē

We know not Mother Kausalya’s anguish of fourteen years of separation from Rama in Treta;

dwāparamuna dēvaki kṛṣnuniki janmaniccina talligānē migilipōyē

In Dwapara, Mother Devaki’s motherhood to Krishna stood confined to giving birth alone;

kalilō dēvagiramma śiraḍi sāyini kānalapālu jēsi taralipōyē

In Kali, Mother Devagiriamma left abandoning Shirdi Sai in the forest.

mari nuvvō īśwaramma

But you Mother Easwaramma,

satya sāyiki janmanicci jagatiki dēva dēvunandinci

You gave birth to Sathya Sai and gave the Universe, the Lord of Lords;

nī kanṭi pāpalō canṭipāpaga ārādhincitivi

You adored Him as a child treasured in the pupil of your eye;

ā ghana kīrti nīkugāka inkevariki dakkunammā?

Who else other than you can lay claim to such glory immense?

īśwaramma! dēvuḍamma!

nidurincina bhaktiki toli kōḍi kūta

The wakeup call to devotion in deep slumber;

mahiḷāmaṇi lōkāniki bhagawad gīta

In the world of women, you are the song celestial;

ninu ganna puḍami talliki sannihita

To Mother Earth who has borne you, you are dear;

ratnākara vamśapu rāja māta
