Baba's Birthdays celebrations have always been a spectacle. Not because Baba did anything miraculous on these occasions like Lingodbhavam or Vibhuti Abhishekam. But because on these occasions devotees did miracles – yes, they converted Prasanthi into a paradise of pure love. They travelled miles with smile, bore any inconvenience with a sweet silence, and persevered to present themselves in His presence for that one moment – to just open their eyes on the morning of His birthday, fill their eyes with His form and through their joyful tears say “Swami! I love you!”

“I love you too” is how Baba responded so sweetly, but in His own unfathomable way to each one.

In Prasanthi, one experiences the true 'Happy Birthday' – a day when one is brimming with bliss. So it is not Baba's birthday, it is actually the Birthday of each one of us because we are happy, we feel that fulfilling joy in His presence. That is why probably whenever devotees wished Baba 'Happy Birthday', He said, “I am always happy, you be happy!”

And lakhs have experienced this happiness – these timeless moments of being near Him on His birthday.
