In his boyhood itself he was interested in medicine and medical herbs, and he studied much literature especially those belonging to ancient times to enhance his knowledge about the treatment of physical as well as spiritual ailments. He asked God to help him in this endeavour as well as in his service. God loved him dearly and completely supported his noble work.More>> |

HOW A LOVELY FAMILY WAS REUNITED… THROUGH LOVE For Sunita, the dingy room in her single-room accommodation in a Mumbai suburb had become her world. The room was hardly 7x10 ft, with flaking blue paint on the walls and a dilapidated wooden door, through the cracks of which she would figure out what time of the day it was. Lying incapacitated on the bed she would constantly think about her new born boy.How lovely he was, when she had seen him last - white chubby cheeks with a hint of red in them, cute little hands and even tinier fingers with puny nails. |

Satyopanishad - Part 23 Without devotion, you can't acquire wisdom - Bhakti leads to gyanam. Without wisdom you can never develop detachment or renunciation. Wisdom takes you to renunciation. A flower, after a while, turns into an unripe bitter fruit, which ultimately becomes a sweet ripened one, doesn't it? It is a question of time that brings about the change. Devotion transforms itself into the wisdom that leads to detachment. This detachment helps you in visualising the divinity within yourself. The fruit then drops down from the tree of life. Gyana (wisdom) contributes to sharanagati, surrender. More>> |
