“If we do not understand the reality of Jesus it will be impossible to understand the reality of Sai Baba. And how can we understand the reality of Jesus? |
Cover Story:
Dear Reader, in the September issue of H2H, we had a comprehensive cover story on the grand Exhibition “Prema Jyothi” held in the Poorna Chandra Auditorium during the Guru Poornima celebrations, 2007 in Prasanthi Nilayam. Two out of every three who visited this presentation fervently expressed that if an elevating show like this traveled to other cities and states of India, it would awaken many a dogmatic and dormant mind. And by His Grace, it did happen. In the last week of September 2007, “Prema Jyothi” was staged in the city of Chennai, and the impact it had on the citizens of Chennai was beyond imagination...more.

Cover Story: ENLIGHTENED LEADERSHIP...
Vol. 5, Issue 08: AUG 1st 2007 |
Cover Story:
The leaders we interviewed come from a wide variety of religious backgrounds: Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism and Islam, but their spiritual views may or may not be connected with an organized religion. Some of them are devotees of Baba, most of them are not. Common to them all, transcending the boundaries of nation, culture and tradition, is a deep awareness of what is truly important in life and a dedication to integrate this awareness and sensitivity into their leadership. They search for meaning, purpose and fulfillment in the external world of business as well as in the internal world of consciousness and conscience. Their external actions and their internal reflections are mutually supportive - so that spirituality and rationality go hand in hand, rather than being each other’s competitor.....more.

Cover Story: THE LEGEND OF SAI GEETHA...
Vol. 5, Issue 07: July 1st 2007 |
Cover Story:
“From the beginning there was an intimate relationship between Me and Sai Geetha. And this was a purely inner relationship.” As Swami said these poignant words in a private session to the students and staff of His University on June 7, 2007, the silence that dawned in the Institute auditorium was too deep and dense, absolutely impenetrable. “When I mention about Sai Geetha, do not think I am emotional,” said Swami, His voice unsteady, overpowered with intense feelings. Looking at the Lord’s eyes oozing with overwhelming emotions, everybody’s heart plunged; it was as if the fragile organ had become too heavy to beat and given away, creating a crater deep within that was subsuming every cell of their being into it....more.

Cover Story: THE SATHYA SAI SCHOOL OF TORONTO
Vol. 5, Issue 06: June 1st 2007 |
Cover Story:
Did you know that the Sathya Sai School in Canada, which is in its sixth year now, was awarded a ‘Perfect Ten’ score in academics by the Fraser Institute, the British Columbia based think tank, because all the students met or exceeded the expectations of the Ontario curriculum? But equally significant is this: every year the young hearts here collect over half a tonne of vegetarian, non-perishable food items for the Food Bank used by the needy residents of the city of Toronto. And do you know how they celebrate Valentine’s Day? Interestingly, for these children it is Valuentine’s Day when they go to the old age homes and sing songs and share gifts with the elderly who long for such love. And in February every year, ...more.

Cover Story: RESURRECTION AND REINCARNATION....
Vol. 5, Issue 04: Apr 1st 2007 |
Cover Story:
Resurrection is the realization of who we are. Since our essence, our true Self is the very essence of all things, created and uncreated, resurrection is the knowledge and totality of all things. Reincarnation is the ignorance of who we are. It is the delusion that identifies the unbounded Immortal Spirit with the limitations of the body-mind complex. Resurrection therefore, is the consummation of reincarnation. The very purpose of birth is to overcome the cycle of rebirth. We are born to learn how not to be born again. Our Beloved Swami once said in one of His discourses in Brindavan that the greatest gift...more.

Cover Story: Sai Geetha...a Mystifying Tale of Unmatched Love
Vol. 5, Issue 01: Jan 1st 2007 |
Cover Story:
It was on a trip along with few devotees to the Muddumalai forest in 1962 that Swami first noticed the tender and tiny toy of joy that Sai Geetha was then. His love and affection for this infant elephant that had lost her mother immediately after her birth, was phenomenal. When the forest officers offered the elephant calf to Swami, He gladly accepted.
Soon arrangements were made and the little lady arrived in Puttaparthi in an airy and comfy vehicle escorted by four Sai volunteers. And since then the motherless child has never missed her parents. In fact, the love and warmth she has received, no other being in the whole animal kingdom - nay, the living kingdom - can dream of. She was blessed with a mother who made all other mothers in the world pale by comparison...more.
