A wide range of topics were discussed right from the current trends, challenges and opportunities in healthcare IT to solutions for distant access to care like telemedicine and so on, to finally, education and workforce training, which focused on e-learning.

The conference ended at 5.30 pm on the same day (November 17, 2012) with a concluding talk by Dr. VR Vasuki, Head, Department of Orthopaedics in Baba's hospital in Puttaparthi. He shared about the challenges as well as benefits of using IT in the Puttaparthi hospital and also the secret behind why this has worked so successfully in Baba's hospitals.

Thus, the key to the success of Swami's hospitals is one-pointed focus in two important directions – the spirit of working for the Lord and second, keeping the patients as priority number one.
