(1) The light You shine on us is divine
You make us see the truth
You make us feel your love in all of Your creation Sai
The light You shine on us is divine….Sai
(2) Your form and grace, gives me love and joy
To my form to my heart into my soul
The light You shine on us is divine…..Sai
(3) My dreams of You, are so beautiful
It’s like living in Prashanti with You
The light You shine on us is divine…Sai
I wrote the lyrics for the first verse of the song in English with no title and found a tune that I liked. Whenever I had some free time I would sit with the guitar and try to continue to write the rest of the lyrics. This went on for about 3 months without writing down a single word and this was frustrating me.

One morning before meditation I prayed to Swami and pleaded to Him to please help me to write the lyrics for the song. Immediately after meditation, I took the guitar, the book in which the first verse of the song was written and the pen and poured out my heart to Swami and pleaded to Him to give me the lyrics to the song.
What I remembered thereafter was this loving, amazing feeling that was flowing from my heart to my right hand that was holding the pen. I could see my hand and the pen moving and within three minutes it stopped, Swami had completed the song with 2 verses. This feeling of love that I felt was truly Divine.
The lesson that I have learnt from this experience is that before undertaking any tasks, challenges or duties, always pray to Swami for His help and guidance because He is the Doer.

Look into your heart, Tell me what you see
I see Swami looking back at me
I see Swami, I see Swami, I see Swami, looking back at me
Swami says, Take one step towards Me
And I will take a hundred steps towards you
Taking a step in Sai, I realize
I am Swami, I am Swami, I am Swami, Love eternally
We were inspired to compose this bhajan during a recent road trip to South Florida.
Recently we had an opportunity to attend a service project in West Palm Beach, near Miami. It is a 10 hour journey by road from Atlanta. So to make full use of our time, we had an idea that we should compose a bhajan! Realizing that all ideas ultimately come from Bhagawan, we prayed to Swami to inspire us and create through us. We said the following affirmation out loud 10 times to help us tune in to Swami and allow Him to compose through us: "I AM the Creativity of God in Action". We downloaded a Piano app on our smartphones and plugged in the guitar to the car's audio system to assist us with the composition. And within a matter of 3 hours the complete bhajan was created!

We are very grateful to Swami for this wonderful experience and to Radio Sai for the opportunity to share this composition.

DEL PADRE DE LOS PADRES SATHYA SAI BABA,
LA MADRE DE LAS MADRES SATHYA SAI BABA.
My name is Ricardo Hambra, I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and been a USA resident since 2000.
I'm thrilled to share with you one of my bhajans called 'SATHYA SAI BABA SATHYA SAI BABA', that I've composed back in the '80s.
Even though it's written in spanish, I'd like to send it to you anyway because it has a wonderful 'Sai story', let me share it with you:
I was part of the Argentinean congregation and we were graciously invited by Swami Himself to sing in the Mandir; it all happened in a group interview and we were ecstatic!
So the night before I was very anxious because I wanted to sing this bhajan, but wasn't sure Swami would like it; I was hesitant. So I prayed to Him to please send me a 'clear' signal if it was a good idea to sing my bhajan, then I went to sleep.
The next day comes and in the afternoon we are called to go to the Veranda after Darshan, and then we enter the Mandir. At that time I've started learning Tabla set and bhajans with the late Sri Shyam Srivastava, commanded directly by Bhagawan Himself (that's another story I'll tell you in another time). So we were told to sit first line, at the very front of the Mandir, right where the clock is, and I was completely delighted and so in love with the scene. Suddenly Swamiji comes out of the interview room and started walking by the veranda greeting students and staff.
Then He gets into the Mandir and we were so happy! a few seconds later, Mother Sai approaches myself and stood right in front of me saying quote: 'Sing that bhajan SATHYA SAI BABA SATHYA SAI BABA, its lyrics has very deep meaning', with a huge smile and, of course I started crying profusely. Swami then allowed me to do Patnamaskar and then moved on to chat with Leonardo Gutter about the order of the bhajans, etc.
Soon after He left, we hastily prepared to start the bhajan session that was beautiful and in which Baba smiled a lot to our immense joy. By His Grace I could have the privilege to sing my bhajan in spanish, and also have my prayer answered in the most amazing way!

The song I would like to submit is "Sai Darshanam". The songs were composed at Parthi during my service there between October 26 and November 5, 2003 at N5 Prasanthi Nilayam where I was posted for duty during the night. Instead of idling my time, I prayed to Swami and He inspired me to compose this bhajan.

The wonderful peaceful atmosphere at the Prasanthi Nilayam and the free educational institutions and the selfless service of the doctors and the nurses and staff of the Super Speciality Hospital inspired me to write this specific bhajan "Sai Darshanam". I was able to feel Swamy's omnipresence.

That trend is continuing till today through Swami's blessing I have composed upto 20 bhajans now. The one I am sending now is the 2nd bhajan composed on lord Sai krishna.

It was sometime in the year 2011 when I had requested one Sai brother to teach me the ragam called 'Maand'. I had some prior idea of this raga but wanted to gain more clarity and get to know the aarohanam and avarohanam better. I wanted to explore it more on my harmonium and play for certain bhajans which are set to this raga.

The brother did share with me a wonderful aalaap and since I recorded it, I kept listening to it many times. I fell in love with this lovely ragam and its beautiful play of notes. I kept listening to the aalaap and kept practicing by playing on my harmonium.

Sometime later, I was practicing playing the notes of this ragam on my keyboard. Suddenly, by Swami's grace I got an inspiration which just flowed out as this bhajan. Undoubtedly it is Swami's composition only. It's just that He chose to use me as an instrument so that I feel the immense joy of 'composing'. I felt so elated because I had never composed a bhajan before this occasion. And I sincerely thanked Him for this blessing.

One day I heard Brother Vijaya Sai's 'Fleeting Moments...' program and he briefly mentioned about the incident where Swami's picture came out as Dattatreya with Polaroid camera, and in the same week when I called my parents who reside in Hyderabad, India, my father mentioned about one of the Dattatreya Avathar "Sri Sripada Vallabha".

On 4th Sept, Thursday after I finished my prayer, still I sat in front of my altar looking at Swami and thought to myself that today is Thursday and Swami says in Telugu language Guruvaarammu, meaning 'Oh! Guru please come!' My thoughts went to the Polaroid picture incident and my conversation with my father. Then this bhajan just came out. This is my first ever bhajan and I do not know any music at all, so I cannot tell the raga or rhythm. It is a just humble offering to Swami.

The Sai Dakshinamurthy bhajan lyrics and tune came up for offering to Swamy during Swamy's Aradhana Mahotsavam celebrations in Kuwait in April 2014.

Swamy is extolled as Lord Dakshinamurthy who teaches in silence and our dear Swamy also spoke in silence and imparted greater lessons through silence. Swamy's every glance, gesture and move was a lesson to others.

Swamy's inspirations in the form of songs sung in my voice are offered back to Bhagawan with humility, reverence and gratitude and thanks for this wonderful opportunity given to share bhajans.

It was just a couple of days before this flowed, that I had listened to a Jaya Jaya Krishna Manamohana rendered very well. I was contemplating on the tune and felt that it was one of the best to convey the emotion of pure, child like Joy.

The movement of the swaras in this tune according to me, was a clear depiction of happiness. The more I thought of this, the more I was reminded of the beautiful feeling we experience during Darshans.

The Bhajan starts off describing this very form of Joy/ananda. Each line has a word that in some manner depicts the pleasant form of the Lord. The general emotion behind the whole bhajan is that of eternal gratitude.

I taught this bhajan in my school on 29th Sept. 2014 and as I opened Radio Sai in the evening, I saw send your bhajan to H2h. Now I understood that this bhajan should reach at Parthi.

I have been blessed by Swami to be his Balvikas student since my childhood days, and Sai Bhajans are life time companion and great tool to cross the big ocean called life.

Parthi Mandir Bhajans always inspired me and i had aspirations and bench mark to sing bhajan in Parthi Style, which has resulted in composing 10+ Bhajans on different deities over last 10 years. I have kept those compositions to my heart and to my family. Couple of months back I have submitted the same in Swami's Sannidhi in writing at Puttaparthi and seeking His blessings to move this forward.

No wonder he has answered through you, Radio Sai Team, announcing this competition.

I was in Madras with my family for a vacation in May 2014, there was a Ganapathy temple called Kubera Ganapathy near to my sister in laws place in Nanganallur and I went for a morning Darshan. The Lord was so beautiful and after chanting Ganapathy Atharvasheersham, the first line/tune of this Bhajan struck me with His blessings, in that temple.

This is my first attempt to make a bhajan to glorify Swamy. I got inspired by seeing a program of Sai Sannidhi that was posted in your website.

In that program one Sai brother put it: Swamy gave us the inspiration to compose bhajans, we also took it as a opportunity and make Swamy happy. This word moved me a lot so I thought to compose bhajan for Swamy. Thank you one and all. May Swamy bless all your innovative ideas.

I got one morning going to work by foot. I had some troubles in my life, and thinking of them I saw the Sun rising; morning was early and the Sun was just coming out - and that was the trigger to compose (if I may say so) this song; words just came out together with melody. And that was it! Of course, I had to write down these words when I came to working place because I would definitely forget them.

After remaining on sidelines for five years, I started actively participating in all the activities of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti, Chandigarh, since the Year 1977 (my birth year is 1947).

I started singing Sai Bhajans and reading Sai literature regularly; remaining thus submerged blissfully in Sai thoughts. In the year 1978, I had a ‘Sai Bhajan’ conducted at my house for the first time. A few days prior to this scheduled Bhajan, as I was enthusiastically making related preparations (picture framing, decoration, prasadam etc.), a sincere prayer emanated from the heart (prompted, of course, by Sai Maa); hence this Sai Bhajan.
