Buddhi Cheppeda Ravana
Bangalore, SSSIHL-BRN (Summer Course )
Description
O Ravana, I shall teach you a lesson! Lanka is no longer yours, O evil one! Listen carefully and waste not this opportunity. Ignoring the intellect, And becoming a slave to evil tendencies, You have got yourself into the clutches of death! Sita is the Mother of all beings; She is your mother too. By abducting her, You have committed a terrible sin. One arrow of Rama, Will remove all your ten heads! O sinner! I destroyed your minions holding Sita a prisoner, And in retaliation you have set fire to my tail. Now watch while I make Lanka burn, Before putting off the fire in my tail.

00:01:38Today, in human beings , how do you find intelligence? If we have heads with wicked thoughts, ears that listen to rumor and scandal, a mind that peeps into others, a quality of listening to evil, a mind that is filled with desires, a cheating mind; with these perversions, education cannot live any longer O brother!. The entire culture of the society has gone down the drain and all the contentment among men is lost. All the goodness in mankind is getting totally uprooted. The life of a modern student has reached this sad state.

00:01:10“People do not mind if they cannot do a work, but get jealous of others who do it. They gather near a charitable person to gossip and bad mouth the doer. What name can be given to such people?? They must be called as the enemies of the beggars.” And who are those enemies? Dogs are the enemies!! Many people complained about Sathe to Baba on many occasions. Baba said that the people who carried tales and complaints about others are like the dogs.

00:00:25Why do you feel proud that you have read books, that you have gone through the Shastras and that you have acquired education? What is the use of all these if you cannot put their essence into practice? If you do not put your hands together and pay homage to God, what is the use of being born as a human being in this world?

00:00:53In defining a good man, Vemana said that the individual who suffers if he is hungry, who harbours evil, who is burning with anger, and who indulges in promoting intrigue may be said to be a bad man. All others are good people.
