My aim is to provide welfare to humanity
Puttaparthi, Sai Kulwanth Hall (Birthday )
Description
Embodiments of love! You say this is the 75th birthday of this body. Bhagawan is not bothered about age. Bhagawan thinks of the welfare of the entire world. Bhagawan is the refuge of the forlorn. Bhagawan will remove the obstacles and problems that come in the way of those who suffer. Bhagawan's determination is one. So you have determined for something hold on until it is fulfilled. You have asked for what you wish, so until it is given do not give up. You have requested for something so do not leave until it is granted. He has to bless you out of helplessness or you must ask repeatedly and receive it but to return is not the quality of a devotee. Until your desire is fulfilled hold on with determination. This is the determination, this is a penance. Penance does not mean going to the forest and put your head down and legs up, speak less, protect truth, show gratitude, hold on, keep up self confidence. This is the life of a devotee. There may be many obstacles don't get carried away by them, go by your own experience. Develop your self confidence. Increase your self respect. Be ready for self sacrifice.

Swami always look for your feelings; Different examples from Mythology
00:02:11More than the Vedas, it is very essential to understand the teachings of Vedanta. The path of love is much easier than the practice of soft repetition of the Name (japa), meditation, yoga, etc. God is not interested in knowing how many bags of rice and how many saris you distributed to the poor. You may send this list of items to the income tax department. What I am interested in is only your feelings. Even if you perform a small act of charity, I see your feelings behind it. I am not interested in the number of saris and bags of rice that you distribute. Swami values only quality. Rukmini could earn the grace of Krishna by offering only a leaf of tulasi. Kuchela could earn the grace and love of Krishna by offering Him a fistful of beaten rice. What did Draupadi do when she had to feed Sage Durvasa and his one thousand disciples when she had nothing with her? She offered a grain of rice left in the cooking pot to Krishna and prayed to Him, “You are our only refuge.” When Krishna put that grain of rice in His mouth, immediately the hunger of Durvasa and his disciples was satiated. In the times of every Avatar, there are such instances of devotees earning the infinite grace of the Lord by making small offerings with devotion and love. Therefore, get rid of the impurity of your mind. Destroy your ego. Learn to make offerings of love. Only then will you have the good fortune of experiencing Bliss (Ananda).

Don't try to understand Me, experience Me
00:05:18Seeing My physical form, you may be deluded into thinking that I am also a human being like you. You may love Me but may not attach due importance to My words because of this delusion. But I am neither the body nor the mind nor the intellect (buddhi) nor the subconscious mind (chitta). I am none of these. I have assumed this body only for your sake. This can be illustrated by a small example. There is water in this tumbler. A tumbler is required in order to hold water. There is a lamp, oil, and a wick. But can the lamp light itself? Shouldn’t there be someone to light the lamp? There are flowers, a needle, and thread. But can a garland be made on its own? Shouldn’t there be someone to stitch the garland (Telugu Poem) There is knowledge and there is intelligence, but can you experience the knowledge unless there is a guru to impart the knowledge? Similarly, this body has come to demonstrate what is truth, what is unreal (mithya), and what is Brahman. Realise your oneness with Swami Embodiments of Love! Don’t think I am speaking out of ego. I am only revealing the truth about Myself. You have not understood even a fraction of My Reality. None can describe My nature as this or that. I am a man among men, a woman among women, a child among children, and when I am alone, I am Brahman. This is My Reality (loud applause). I conduct Myself according to the group of people around Me. When I am among elders, I have to behave like an elder. When among children, I have to act like a child. If an old man plays with toys, children will laugh at him. If a child uses a walking stick like an old man, elders will be amused. It is natural for an old man use a walking stick and for a child to play with toys. Similarly, when I am with children, I make them happy by giving them this and that. But when someone comes to Me with a desire for spiritual knowledge, I teach the same to him. When a householder comes to Me, I teach him the dharma of a householder. Similarly, I teach everyone what they require. Why do I do all this? It is only to make you realise the ultimate reality of your oneness with Swami. You have attained this opportunity out of your great good fortune. No other Avatar has provided this type of opportunity to human beings (loud applause). Having attained this golden opportunity, if you conduct yourself in accordance with My teachings, your life will be certainly sanctified and redeemed. You will see the rise of My glory with the passage of time when even the blind people and ignoramuses will say, “Swami is God.”.

Conduct yourself in conformity with the divine messages conveyed through the discourses
00:02:51Annamacharya said that the results of our prayers to the Lord shall be commensurate with the sincerity we have put in, in this direction. Ocean has plenty of water. Depending on the size of the container, one can fetch as much water and not more. Just because Ocean has plenty of water, one cannot fetch as much one wants with a small container! Now-a-days, devotion and prayer are akin to such thinking. You behave in one way in front, and practice in a different way, behind. People are trying to deceive the world. This is not right. Spiritual Institutions are getting polluted with such individuals. Non-believers in God are swelling in numbers and correspondingly, believers in God are dwindling in numbers. It only demonstrates that the philosophy of divinity has not been percolated prudently among the human beings. At least from now onwards, let us aim at improving our conduct by resorting to doing good deeds and speaking good words. We have heard the discourses carefully, is not the reply I want to hear from you. All programmes are good is not the reply I appreciate. We have decided to transform ourselves for good is what I wish to hear from all of you. That is the best manifestation of your true devotion. When you say that there is a heavy downpour, the soil must show some moisture in it as proof. Likewise, when you feel that you are a dedicated devotee, your behavioural norms and practices must reflect the same. Therefore, conduct yourself in conformity with the divine messages conveyed through the discourses.
-
Mere listening to discourses take you nowhere
00:02:00In-spite of listening to several discourses, despite spending long spells of time in participating spiritual workshops, and even after listening to divine discourses for over 30, 40, or even 50 years, mindset remains the same! With miscellaneous content collated from newspapers, magazines and some books, people are filling their brain space but not attempting at filling their hearts with love. They are merely listening but not putting efforts to taste the bliss in it. You have been living in the ashram premises for several years. If you introspect within yourself, you will realize that there has been no change whatsoever that has taken place in your mindset! What is the reason? If you take a rounded pebble (gundu) and put it in water, you will notice that not a tiny drop of water makes its way into the pebble because it is impervious. Same is the case here. In a hard-stone hearted person, how can sacred love soak into his heart!

I keep correcting you till you learn: With Analogy
00:02:48There are many subtle things that the students must know. Many people think that Swami often repeats the same things. Things have to be repeated until everyone learns the lessons. Doesn’t one feed the same stomach again and again? Does one skip dinner because he had already had breakfast? Does one think of missing a meal because he had eaten the previous day? No! One does not do so because the food eaten has been digested; hence one eats for the same stomach again and again. One washes the same face again and again. Then why can’t one listen to the same things again and again?? When people practice those that they have heard and experience the bliss thereof then they no longer need the subject of their listening. Until one takes to practise what one has heard, things need to be repeated. A small example to illustrate this: Children are made to learn the alphabets. In the First standard they are taught spellings of some words. To get the spelling of ‘milk’ correct the child has to repeat the spelling. The child learns the spelling, the meaning and the pronunciation of the word by repeating it many times. Likewise Swami too repeats the spellings till one learns the meaning, the spelling, the pronunciation and the truth behind it. Although things are oft repeated they sound ever new to the listeners. One does not realise this truth. Swami has talked about Gayathri mantra many times but the things that are stated and talked about are different each time. It is Sai’s greatness that the words sound ever fresh and ever new!! Every time the talk is new!! It is not only Swami’s words that remain ever new, but Swami too remains ever fresh and ever new!! That is divinity!! Being ever new and ever fresh is Divinity!! One must also aspire to be divine, that is, to be ever new. One must not accumulate old and rotten things in one’s heart and must strive to be happy always. Having been in the company of God, one must imbibe the divine qualities and experience the same.
-
Divine alone has will power
00:01:48In order to experience divine feelings one must recognise the nature of the intellect. Intellect has everything. Divine will is the self will. God alone has the will power. Many people say that they act according to their self will. Where from does the self will arise? Who is self? God is the self. Hence, self will is the power of the divine and is present in everyone. But people do not believe in it as the divine power. They believe it to be their power which amounts to ignorance and foolishness. There is divine power in all the powers. Therefore if one wants to know the divine power one must have the interest and stability. These two are most necessary. One should have intense love and affection for God. How should the love for God be? It must not shift with the flow of the wind nor oscillate like the pendulum; it should be steady. When one has the steady faith and love for God, one becomes the recipient of God’s grace.

Serving the poor would make Swami happy
00:01:24The doctors must serve, especially the poor, for the seva done to them alone will safeguard one in the long run. Service to poor people is service to Lord Rama! Hence the doctors must serve the poor and dedicate their lives in service of the poor. Swami has no other desire and considers service to the poor as important. Swami is ready to sacrifice His life for the benefit of the poor. Man must strive to do at least a thousandth part of what Swami is doing for that is the duty of man. What is the use of being born as human being? Man must dedicate the energy given by God to serve the poor. Na tapamsi na deeptanaam, Na shastra naa japanahi, Samsara saagarothare Sajjanam sevanam vina!! Except for the service done to the poor and the needy, no amount of penance, or pilgrimage, or scholarship, or riches, come handy in crossing the ocean called the world. Therefore, one should dedicate one’s life to the service of the poor.
-
Swami is happy when you serve the poor
00:03:54The heart diseases are increasing day by day. Heart surgeries being are performed at the super speciality hospital in Prashanthi Nilayam where ten thousand and six hundred surgeries have been done till date. There are many poor people who have benefited by it. Money is a must to consult any doctor. Nobody thinks about the fate of the poor people who cannot afford such money. Therefore, the poor people have to be taken care of and cured of diseases and thereby an ideal path of righteousness must be set for the entire nation True service is the service rendered to the poor and the needy. There is no leader who looks after the poor. The government too has forsaken the poor as have the doctors. If a doctor spends ten cores of rupees on setting up a hospital, he expects a return of hundred crores. The doctors do not have no kindness and compassion and hence the pitiable fate of the poor. The heart operations are being done for the past four days for the poor. Who are the poor patients -- one is a carpenter, and another a washer man. Such poor people have been coming to this hospital seeking relief. Fifty operations have been performed and the faces of the patients beam with happiness. What is the use of the medicine that does not give happiness? What is the use of medicine that does not confer happiness and health? People may be highly educated but are least bothered about the poor. Hence this hospital is meant for all the poor and forlorn. Swami’s happiness lies in the happiness of the poor and the forsaken. Swami dedicates His entire life to the betterment of the poor. The hospital at Bangalore takes care of the heart and lung transplant with an aim to render permanent relief and cure to the poor. A good and healthy heart makes one courageous. Life is useless without health. A diseased heart is useless even if one is virtuous and wealthy.

Swami sounds harsh only to correct you all
00:00:50Embodiments of Love!! One should not feel hurt and think that Swami has spoken harshly for, a Guru in true sense is the one who points out one’s mistakes and faults. The one who deceives by hiding the faults and shortcomings in a disciple is a treacherous fellow. Therefore one must consider all the things that Swami has spoken about are for one’s own welfare and get rid of the faults and lapses in oneself. And at least in future become one without any defects.
-
What have you done for Swami
00:02:00All the spiritual practises that one undertakes, is for one’s own fortification. Therefore one must take to these activities with self confidence. One finds fault with Sai saying that Sai has not done this thing or that but fail to introspect about the things that one has done for Sai. People do all the things out of self interest and selfishness. Without doing anything for Sai how can one expect anything from Sai? Even to secure an ordinary object, one has to tend the price to obtain the object. Is it not selfishness to want to obtain the object without tending its price? Sai will shower everything on the one who does what Sai wants in a selfless way. Without discharging one’s duties in a way that one is supposed to do and expecting returns from Sai is not going to work. The wealth that one has earned is not the real wealth; true wealth is the grace of the Lord. To earn the grace of the Lord one must be ready to make every sacrifice. There is nothing beyond or greater than service.

Don't get attached to the body: Swami's example
00:03:12People know that Swami leads by example. This is Swami’s body. But Swami is the not the body, Swami is Atma. Hence no trouble of the body ever bothers Swami. So many troubles do come unto to the body but one must not be mindful of them. The body is born out of troubles, grows in troubles hence one cannot escape from troubles. Therefore one must not bother about them. Problems are the nature of the body but one’s nature is that of the soul. One must follow one’s true nature, the atma, but not the nature of the body. Hence one must not develop one’s identity as the body. Malinapu kompa, Rogamunu maggedu sevakagampa, Jaathasanchalanamu pondu dumpa, Bhavasaagarameedagaleni kampa, Ambulapodi lemmu chooda manamuppudalampa, Menu nischalamani nammaboku O manasa!! Hari chintana aacharinchave!! Body is full of dirt, It is full of afflictions, It is full of variations, It cannot cross the ocean of life, It is full of bones, O mind! Do not think it to be permanent, Practise chanting the Lord’s name!! One must continuously think of God. One need not think about the perishable body. The body comes and goes just like the passing clouds. It is the attribute of nature. But the quality of Atma is oneness. It is nature of atma to see everything as one. Bodily sufferings come and go. Swami keeps on walking in spite of the pain, gives darshan and talks to everyone in spite of the pain. Swami does not bother about His bodily pain. What is the reason behind it? When one thinks that the body belongs to him, then he is subjected to pains and sufferings. Swami thinks that the body is not His. There is a hand kerchief. When the kerchief does not belong to one, one is bothered if it is soiled. How is one bothered if it is subjected to sufferings or knotted many times? All the suffering belongs to the cloth hence one is not perturbed by it. Likewise the suffering of the body is its own and does not belong to the atma, soul. Dehamu panchabhoutikamu, Dehamu koolaka tappadeppudun Dehi niramayundu, Ganutimpaga dehiki chaavuputtukal Mohanibadhdhabandhamul mudralu levu, Nizambu chooda aa dehi ye devadeva devundu!!! Smariyimpaga atma sakhiayi!! The body is made up of the five elements, Body is bound to perish, But the soul encased in the body is eternal, It has neither the beginning nor the end!! Truly speaking the in dweller is the Lord of the Lords!! And He is the eternal witness!! The in-dweller is the Atma, soul; why does man think of himself as the body? Why does he worry about the sufferings of the body? Such worry is not good.

All of us are instruments: Sai is the doer;
00:00:57All of us are instruments in the Divine hands. You are only a namesake. “I am doing everything. I am doing all service. I have made it possible to get good reputation for Sai Organizations”. Such expressions of ego should never be allowed to grow in anybody. It is because of your association with Sai Organizations you could earn name, fame and identity. If Sai is not there, where would you be? It is only through chanting of Sai name you are getting some recognition. You must realize that divine chanting is my breath. One should not forget this truth.

Why does the Divine take the form of a human?
00:04:42So, divinity doesn’t surface with a special form. Divinity also puts up a human form and appears. God comes down in human form. If God doesn’t come in human form, humans will not be able to access and see Him! Purandardas told that human beings place candies and worship, doing rounds to a stone idol of a Cobra. But when a real cobra appears, the same human beings pelt stones and run away! Therefore, God appears in human form to ensure proximity and develop rapport with the human beings. Similarly, in appearance, between a real human being and God taking a human form, helps develop a better understanding between them. Human mindset has its own limitations. Human mind is below the senses whereas Divine power is beyond senses. It is not possible to understand the gulf between the two. Therefore, in order to foster proximity, nurture friendship and instill conversations, God chooses to don human form and manifest divinity. Instead, if God appears with all His divine ornaments, human beings will run away as they are not used to witnessing such an unnatural form! God, therefore, appears in the conventional human form only to dispel any misgivings in the human mind, and imparts spiritual knowledge. God coming down doesn’t mean that He had come down from an upper floor to the lower floor! It only means to convey that God comes down from the Divine level to the human level to help transform the human minds. It is by no means an indicator of devaluing His stature or degrading His Divinity. In order to take the child from bed into her arms, a mother bends down and lifts the baby. It should not be construed that the mother had lowered herself in stature by bending down to take the baby! In the same way, God comes down, in a human form, to uphold the dignity of human beings and help them in liberation from the shackles of bondage and wrong doings. When He comes down, He talks like us, behaves like us, and moves amidst us. But human beings entertain doubts about seeing God and recognising Him so, because of the similarity in behavioural norms in both! When you cannot comprehend God while in an ordinary human form, how can you understand His extra-ordinary form and His divine powers? Impossible. Humans have to try to elevate themselves towards the Divine level.

Follow the command as prescribed by Swami
00:01:46Swami's commands, Swami's message - we should propagate throughout the world. Some people may like it or not - you need not bother. Someone may say, "I don’t want". If he doesn’t want, you can say, "I want". You should have the strong determination to say, "I want". After all, yes and no apply only to our tongue. For Swami, everything is "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Only the bad qualities latent in you may be seen outside (as defects in creation). The Divine, God, is perfect, without any defect. All words, all deeds, and all thoughts of God are perfect. Your feelings, your thoughts, your imagination, come back to you as reflections. They are merely psychological, not real manifestations. You think God is responsible for them. God gives only good and good alone. All the bad you see is only your own reflection and reaction. Therefore God takes you to reality. Experience this truth well.
-
Have the feeling "Swami belongs to you"
00:01:24Bhagawan has said this many times. When sarees were distributed to the messengers, they said, "Thanks, Swami!" Swami said, "I am not third person, I am second person". We have to thank the third person not the second person. When your mother feeds you, will you ever thank your mother? When an outsider serves you food, you thank him. Bhagawan is not an outsider, so never say, "Thank you Swami." You can fight (with Him) with right. Have this feeling, of having the right to say, "He is my Swami, my Swami alone". Then you will have all sorts of rights. But you are not fighting with this spirit. You have been thinking with bad feelings, with wicked thoughts.
-
Follow Swami to become one with Him
00:01:00All are the forms of the divine without any differences of high and low. One might ponder, “Will I get the same power as Swami?” Swami assures that when one follows Swami one would indeed be as powerful as swami. Swami says that power is inherent in every individual but man does not follow it. Man aspires for ‘Ananda’, the bliss and bliss is his when he truly follows. The ‘Ananda’ bliss is everywhere- above, below, in, out and around. Therefore, truly man is the embodiment of ‘Ananda’, the bliss! When man is bliss, there is no point in searching and aspiring for it outside. Man thinks that he gets bliss in the world or at some other place. There is no bliss in the world; it is within man. Everything is a reflection of the inner being!
-
I need people who work actively
00:01:41Swami needs people who work. Henceforth, people who do not work will be ousted from the organization. Even ten people who work sincerely are good enough for the organization. The most important resolution of this conference is that the organization needs people who are workers and who work sincerely. The organization is not concerned with one’s fame, wealth, authority and position. The organization needs people who are ready to work. All the members must become workers ready to work. A person who indulges in only talk does not have a place in Sai organizations as does a person who criticises others. A power drunk and an egoistic person wanting to exercise power and authority have no place in Sai organization. People must prove themselves by working to their potential. Hence the saying, “Dasaanudaasudanu kavalenu ra, nee dasulaku sevane cheyavalera! (I must become the servant of your servant, O Lord, and serve them!!)” Therefore, one must transform oneself to become the servant of the servant of the Lord for only then can one aspire to become the servant of the Lord!
-
Bhagawan's love is universal
00:00:57Always wish for the well being of others and love all. Swami is a living example for the said principles. Swami loves all, including the wicked. Swami loves the one who criticises Him more and also those who want to ruin Swami. Swami is very happy because of His love for all. Hence Swami says that His life is His message. Swami is filled with sacrifice and always gives and is never prone to want of pleasures for giving is His pleasure. Therefore, worker must strive to become one with spirit of sacrifice, ‘thygaraju’ and not one given to pleasure and comforts, ‘bhoga raju’

I celebrate birthday only to please devotees
00:00:31As days passby, months role on, years passby, bhagawan never wanted the birthday celebrations. As all devotees assembled here, birthday has got to be performed. In fact, Bhagawan doesn’t want it. Bhagawan goes by this feeling, bhagawan and His devotee.

Bhagawan's love is Selfless
00:02:14Embodiments of Love ! Infact your love for Bhagawan and Bhagwan's love for you are one and the same, in the same wave length. Love present in all of the beings and love within you are one and the same. But your love is towards the material objects which is momentary. Bhagawan's love is beyond all material. It's not possessive. Bhagawan's is pure, unsullied, unpolluted pure love. The love in everyone, sometimes turns negative because, it is related to desire. Bhagawan has no desire at all. Bhagawan is absolutely positive. Without positive, negative is useless. Without negative, positive is useless. So, Bhagawan says, I and you are one and just join both negative and positive and then take God into you. Then there will be no pleasure and no happiness that you cannot experience. When you have inter relationship, the life is bound to be blissful. What sort of bliss? Supreme bliss. At that supreme bliss you become divine. You don't need to follow any practices or Sadhana. If you really want, follow one spiritual path. The spiritual practices give you satisfaction. It is not for the satisfaction of the self. Consider everyone equal and share love with everybody. This is the true spiritual practice.
-
Swami on devotees love for Him
00:00:37The divinity present in humanity is very much apparent. Lakhs and Lakhs have assembled here because of your love for Swami and this love is the very proof of Divinity and you have filled your hearts with Love for Bhagawan. There cannot be greater bliss than this.

My Life is My Message
00:04:00Many people ask me, "Has Swami got a secretary or an assistant? Who is looking after all the mails and post that Swami gets? Has He got any kind of assistance or help?" Who wants a secretary? One who has got some secrets wants a secretary. I have no secrets and so I do not want a secretary. My whole life consists in being of service to you. That gives me happiness. That is the true aspect of Eshwara. The One who is the embodiment of all forms of affluence and wealth is Eshwara. Any kind of work I do it Myself. I look after all work Myself. I enjoy it and I participate in that work by Myself. This is the reason why when many people ask Me to give a message, I merely tell them, "My life is My message". I can give you a small example. For instance, in this auditorium even when a small work has to be attended to or some visitor has to be given a room or a very small thing has to be done, although there are number of people who are connected with the organization and have to do the work, yet I give them instructions on what to do, when to do, and at what time what small thing has to be done. Yet it appears to others as if many persons connected to this organization are doing small things such as announcing the time, the program, or giving a room. I remain only as a witness as if I have nothing to do with it, yet every small thing is done by Me. This is the reason why I am eternally happy and in bliss. It is only when we do work and when we participate in work without wasting our strength and our power that we feel happy. Either mentally or physically, we must always be active and we must do work. Laziness is rust and dust. We should not turn out to be lazy people. We are born in Karma Yoga, we are born in the field of work and we should therefore devote all our time and energy in doing work."
-
Swami does everything for the welfare of society
00:01:33This is the day of Ugadi. Sacred thoughts yield sacred results. Hence deeds motivated by and performed with a pious heart, fetch sacred and good results immediately. One need not look elsewhere for an evidence of the above as Bhagwan Himself is a living proof of the adage. Every task performed by Swami is done out of selflessness without a trace or an iota of selfishness, for the benefit of the society. People do not realise this truth and think that Swami works with ulterior motives. Swami does not gain anything from performing such tasks. The only gain that Swami gets is ‘happiness’, for Bhagawan is extremely happy when all are happy. Therefore Sai devotees must follow the path shown by Swami and experience the bliss. When one treads the path laid by Bhagawan, one not only reaps sacred results but also gets fame and name in the sacred way. One need not wait long for the results of such actions for Swami’s words are true and are bound to happen.
-
Body is given for performing sacred actions
00:02:15Whenever you have a litte pain, if you go on thinking, 'Pain! Pain!', the pain only increases. If you can turn your mind on some other work, then you will be free from it. Narasimhamurthy came and all the doctors came and said, "Swami! There is need of rest for this body". What is rest? Does it consist of lying down on the bed? Real rest is: change of work is rest. That is My work. For a while, I go on reading letters. After little while, I go on attending to some other work. I also attend to various other work. I always keep Myself busy. This body is given for discharging some duties and work. The most important duty for this physical body is to discharge its work. We should use this body to do some work or other. Why should we do the work? We should do work in order to sanctify time. The physical body has come for doing action, and action has to be done for sanctifying the time. That is how all these three things are done. If I do not have any other work, I will go on thinking that these devotees are sitting here and they are feeling bad and so on, thus, I forget the pain that I am having.

Swami on past, present and future
00:04:00Man can think of the future. Man can also think of the past. Man can experience the present. But in a way this is also contrary to humanity. We should not bother about the past. The reason being that we are living the fruits of our past. However much you may worry, you are not going to get back time which is past. You should not think of your future; there is no need for it. What is the reason? Where is the surety that you will be alive tomorrow? We may go away from this world today itself. But it is said remember always the present. Go on reflecting and remembering the present as a present. But in the divine reckoning and vision this is not an ordinary present - this is omnipresent. Why do we describe this present as omnipresent? The reason is the fruits of the past actions we are living in the present and also the future holds the fruits of what we do today. You are getting the belch according to the food you have taken. The past has its lessons for the present and the present is going to determine the future. But man is not thinking so deeply as to recognise the importance of the present, therefore he worries himself about the past and the future. But in God or divinity you cannot find this kind of past, present or future. This is contradictory to the divinity itself. One small example. Some people have got these thoughts, that Swami knows His future and that Swami knows that He would be falling in the bathroom does He not know this much? I know My own future but I would never bother about the future of this body or Myself. I always think about the future of others. This truth must be very clearly recognized. I always concern myself about the duty for the present. All these things come and go.
-
Achieve oneness with Swami
00:00:56Embodiments of Love! This experience should confer happiness on you. You should be made happy for all that you have done and see that you maintain this happiness throughout your life. In fact true love is only one. It will never change with time. You love Swami. You love Bhagawan but that love should not waver or change. Feel that "I belong to Swami and Swami is mine." Then you can experience this unity. Achieve that oneness with Swami. That is the truthful path.
-
How to make Swami happy
00:00:28How to please Bhagawan? First we should fill our hearts with good virtues. We should not go on changing day to day. We should see that we have an unwavering mind and steadiness in our vision.
-
Swami never gets angry with anyone
00:02:33The peacock is so beautiful. If you take the feathers of the peacock and put them on a hen, how does it look? Even if a diamond is found in dung, it has got its own value. Good people will always get their name and fame wherever they are. We should not hate anyone. We should not get angry with anyone. We might sometimes get angry but we must never hate people. Arrogance and ego is very wrong. I am doing all these and showing you. You may think that Swami perhaps is not like that. He doesn't talk to us, may be he is angry. That is all their imagination and guilty consciousness. Whatever is wrong within them, they reflect it on Swami. I do not hate anyone. I just behave as if I get angry with them. I do not have hatred on anyone. People do not understand me. They think they are devoted. They're full of their own desires. They come with lot of talk, Swami we will do this service, that service. Will my heart melt so soon? Put an end to the desires and clean your hearts. Then I shall fulfill all your desires. We have got to think of that truth. We have got negative thoughts within. We are trying to ask for the positive. What can you get? It is something impossible. First clean your hearts and fill them with positive thoughts.
